We have recently completed the School Development Plan (SDP) and identified our priorities for the coming year.

 

Target

Outcomes for pupils

1.1

Improve rates of progress across the whole school, including in English and mathematics

1.2

5+EM to meet target of between  42% and 47%

1.3

Improve accuracy of prediction and reduce in school variation, so all departments have a residual of 0

1.4

Successfully implement the use of Learning journeys and assessment mark sheets into Years 7- 9 to ensure that all stakeholders fully understand the learning process, so they make rapid gains

1.5

The attainment and progress of disadvantaged pupils to be at least matched or are rapidly approaching those of other pupils nationally and in the school

To ensure that effective and appropriate intervention(s) are implemented for students who arrive not secondary ready or are making below expected progress

Improve attendance to 95% across the school ensuring effective strategies are used to improve the punctuality of student
