Twickenham School strategic intent

To ensure we are a school of excellence, improving the life chances of all our students by delivering the highest standard and quality of education whilst creating a culture of care and support.

How do we do this?

Each year Twickenham School reviews and updates its key priorities within its wider school development plan. Our key priorities for the 2021 - 2022 academic year are:

Priority 1:  To provide a challenging and well sequenced curriculum which is both ambitious and inclusive by design, purposefully planned for all learners to acquire the knowledge and skills to succeed in life.
Priority 2: To ensure the assessment of the curriculum across all subjects and key stages is carefully mapped to provide learners with the opportunity to build their long-term knowledge and skills.
Priority 3: To ensure that teachers have expert knowledge of the subjects they teach so that teaching effectively supports the delivery of the curriculum.
Priority 4: To provide extensive and diverse opportunities throughout the curriculum and beyond which contribute to the character development and high aspirations of all students.
